Terri Colombino's Biography

Terri was a communications major at the University of San Diego and studied abroad in Florence, Italy during her junior year of college. She then followed her acting dreams and landed guest-starring roles on several television shows before becoming a series regular on the UPN program BREAKER HIGH in 1997. Terri joined the long-running CBS daytime drama AS THE WORLD TURNS as Katie Peretti in September 1998 in a role created for her after she originally auditioned for the role of ATWT's Georgia. In 2001, Terri received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress and was nominated along with Paul Leyden for a special Daytime Emmy Award as America's Favorite Couple. Also in 2001, Terri was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Supporting Actress. Terri first met Arthur "Artie" Colombino, an actor and a musician, at a party the night before the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2000. They were married on September 7, 2001 at Gray's Church in downtown New York City. Since her marriage, Terri is credited as Terri Colombino. Their only child, a daughter named Julia Catherine, was born on July 8, 2004 (measuring 19 inches long and weighed 6 lbs, 5 oz.) and her parents shared this experience with TLC's A BABY STORY. Terri and Artie separated in 2009.

Terri was born January 28, 1975 in Bloomington, Indiana, as Theresa Celeste Conn and is the only child of a real-estate-agent mother and a now-retired Air Force officer father. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico from age the age of nine, after previously living in Dayton OH, Montgomery AL, and Abilene TX .
